ENERGY EQUITY TRAINING
Transitioning from dirty to clean energy sources will have significant environmental, economic, and health benefits. The communities who stand to benefit the most from cleaner air, lower utility bills, and fewer heat and pollution related health issues are precisely the communities that our elected officials need to hear from to speed up the transition. Ultimately, we must demand an end to planet-warming emissions and ensure those tasked with representing us have a clear understanding of our needs.
This starts with being able to speak to the benefits of a future powered by clean energy. The Energy Equity Training provides the foundational information needed to convince policymakers to implement and enforce stricter emissions regulations, invest in clean energy infrastructure, move subsidies from dirty to clean energy sources, ensure equitable access to clean energy, and more.
